The glass paintings are inspired by insomnia, which the author suffers from. The paintings consist of fragments of various sizes, which, when grouped together, form a compact shape. The most basic elements here are large objects: white and red. They depict the world awake and asleep, intermingling in different ways and breaking down thin boundaries. Each medium, illustration and shape carries its own meaning and emotional charge.

The work impresses with its story about insomnia and the split between reality and dream. It presents a captivating insight into the psyche, although its aesthetics and execution are unusual.

The illustrations that cover the complete work are created with silver plating. The author processes this technique "inside out", so instead of a reflection, a patina with a subtle hint of a mirror is created.
